North Korea decides to rewind the time

North Korea has decided to rewind the time to 30 minutes and start a new time scale for Piyonyong. –Radio Tehran

The existing time scale was started in 1912 to adjust with Japan. But it decided to move away from it. Now you have to add 8 hours and three 30 minutes to GMT for North Korean time.

North Korean news agency KCN says Korea was devastated with Japanese imperialists. Even they have deprived North Korea from running on a self time scale.

It will be implemented from 15th of the running month may be. North Korea was under Japanese imperialism from 1945 to 1970. They will celebrate their independence day on 15th of this month. So change of time scale was declared now.
