London is still the cocain capital of Europe
London is the cocaine capital of Europe – beating off competition from Amsterdam to retain the questionable title.
And not only that, but experts say traces of the drug found in the capital’s sewers have increased in recent years.
Analysis showed the average daily concentration of coke in London sewers was 909mg per 1,000 people in 2015.
London also finished top of the table in 2014, with 737mg – showing that the capital probably did more lines last year than the year before.
According to the study published by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction, there has been a ‘stable picture’ of coke use in Europe.
However, London is one of the few cities that has seen an increase in levels of the Class A drug.
