Nirab Hossain, father of July fighter Tahsin Hossain Nahian, died on Manik Mia Avenue in the capital while attending the funeral of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
After receiving the news on Wednesday (December 31) night, on the instructions of BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman, the party’s health affairs co-editor and doctors’ association of Bangladesh (DAB) co-president Dr. Pervez Reza Kakan.
At this time he spoke to the two brothers of the deceased, Musfiqur and Bahadur, and conveyed Tariq Rahman’s condolences to the bereaved family members.
Dr. Parvez Reza said that Nirab Hossain died after coming to attend the funeral of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia. There was a huge crowd of people at the funeral.
The vice president of DAB was also present. AKM Masud Akhter Jitu, organizing secretary Dr. Javed Ahmed, former organizational secretary Dr. Dr. Syed Imtiaz Sajid, Legal Secretary. MR Hasan, Dr. Russell Hossain, Zobael Alam Pavel and Rakib Hossain.
According to police sources, Nirab Hossain’s village house is in Baufal upazila of Patuakhali.
