AL govt role model of torture, killing people
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday said that Awami League government is a role model of how to repress people and suppress different opinion as well as kill harmless and unarmed people.
He said Awami League government's cruelty and oppression crossed the level that of Hitlar and his Nazi party.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul came up with remarks while addressing a function at Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh in the capital.
Jatiyatabadi Help Cell organised the function to distribute financial assistance to family members of leaders and activists of BNP and its front and associate organisations who fell victims of killing, enforced disappearance and repression by 'Awami goons’ and 'law enforcers' during the party’s movement for democracy.
Fakhrul said the whole nation become victim of 'Awami misrule'.
He said there is no district where leaders and activists of BNP and common people were not oppressed and killed by 'Awami goons 'and 'law enforcers'.
The BNP secretary general said only reply to such repression and killing is through strengthening each unit of BNP and its front and associate organizations and it would impede the government from resorting to kill BNP leaders and activists.
