Staff Correspondent: A Sylhet court directed attack-injured college girl Khadiza Akter Nargis to appear before it on January 26 to testify in a case filed against BCL leader Badrul Alam for attempting to murder her.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Saifuzzaman Hiru issued the order on Sunday following a time petition filed by her lawyer.

Khadiza Akter Nargis, who was critically injured due to attack on her with sharp weapon and fought for life in the Square Hospital in the capital, was supposed to appear before the court on Sunday. But her lawyer prayed for deferment of her appearance on the plea that she is not fit yet for the purpose.
