13 years passed since clean for Diego Maradona, who has also shared his ambitions of coaching Napoli sometime in the future, reports Spanish sports newspaper Marca.
In an interview with Italian TV show Amici, the Pibe de Oro shared how his family has assisted him in his darkest hours and helped him get back on track when he required it.
‘It has been 13 years since I last used drugs and now I prefer to play football with my family and sons,’ he said.
‘I managed to find my way thanks to my daughter Dalma.
‘When asked about his career on the pitch, the Argentine icon set his sights on a new goal. ’If the people want it, I'd love to coach Napoli someday,’ he concluded.
