Fazle Rabbi was a lawyer of masses: Taposh

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh today said Fazle Rabbi Mia was a lawyer of mass people.

“Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah was a pioneer in the field of law and was a lawyer of mass people. He never bargained for his fees,” Taposh said after attending Rabbi’s namaz-e-janaza on High Court premises.

Referring to the difficulty of finding people-friendly lawyers and politicians like Rabbi, the DSCC mayor said during his long path in the legal arena, no one uttered a single word against him.

“Rabbi mingled with common people. So, he was very popular in his arena,” he said.

The mayor also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
