Fire breaks out at Air India office at Shahjalal International airport

A fire broke out at the office of Air India at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka this afternoon.

A duty officer of fire service control room said, the fire broke out on the third floor of the main building around 1:37pm.

Ten firefighting units went to the spot to douse the blaze, he added.

The reason behind the fire could not be identified immediately.

Law enforcers remained alert to maintain security in and around the airport.
