Govt asks coaching centers to stop activities during SSC exam

The government asked the coaching centers to stop their activities three days ahead of the beginning of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examination and keep those closed until the exams end.

The instruction came from a meeting of the National Monitoring Committee to hold the ensuing SSC examinations smoothly in a copying-free environment with Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid in the chair.

Nahid said all kinds of measures have been taken to prevent cheating or copying in the upcoming SSC examinations.

The meeting also took some decisions for preventing question paper leak, spreading rumor over question paper leak and taking action against those who circulate questions through facebook.

As per the decision of the meeting, the examinees have to enter their respective exam halls at least 30 minutes before the exams begin, no excuse will be accepteed in this regard, said the Minister.

The meeting also decided that no student would be allowed to use mobile phones in the examination halls and if anyone is found with phone will be expelled immediately.
