Home Minister Asaduzzaman Kamal has said the government had recognized the locations of the absconding killers of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members.
The minister came up with remark in reply to a query of journalists while paying wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu at Dhanmondi Road-32 on Tuesday morning, marking the National Mourning Day.
"We have almost identified the specific location of several fugitive killers of Bangabandhu. Diplomatic efforts are going on to bring those killers back to the country," he said.
The government will run the trial of all these killers, including Noor Chowdhury, after bringing them back to the country, Khan added.
"We expect that we will be able to bring back the killers back to the country and implement the judgment of the court," he said, adding that the government is also looking for the wealth belongs to these killers to confiscate those.
