Rajshahi Correspondent: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 1kg of heroin worth TK 20lakh in 'C and B' intersection area of Godagari upazila on Friday afternoon.
According to BGB press release, a patrol team of BGB led by subedar Rezaul Karim, commander of Godagari border outpost, conducted drive in the area around 4.30pm and seized heroin in an abandoned condition.
Sensing the presence of the BGB personnel, the drug peddlers fled and none was arrested in this connection.
