Iran’s intelligence agency said that US-made weapons and explosives were recovered from several houses in different areas of the country. According to the organization, these weapons were secretly stored in those houses by the members of the armed groups. Aljazeera reported this news.
According to state intelligence officials, the equipment recovered in the recent raids included firearms and explosive devices, which they believe were stored to carry out violent activities under the guise of protests.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that the government has audio recordings of phone calls from abroad to guide the protesters. He complained that through these calls the agitators were being incited and instructed from outside the country.
These demands came in the context of ongoing anti-government protests in Iran. Meanwhile, the country’s authorities have been complaining about foreign interference in the security situation. On the other hand, the fear of US attack is also increasing. However, the Iranian authorities counter-threatened and said that they are ready to stop any kind of foreign attack.
