Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi paid a courtesy call on President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
The meeting took place at Bangabhaban on Tuesday (September 8). The Indian High Commission in Dhaka announced this information in a Facebook post on the same day at noon.
During the meeting, the Indian High Commissioner extended warm greetings to the President and wished him success in fulfilling his duties in the service of the people of Bangladesh.
The discussion highlighted the shared history, close cultural ties, and the long-standing relationship between Bangladesh and India, built on mutual interaction between their peoples.
Both sides particularly emphasized the importance of further strengthening the bilateral partnership between the two countries to ensure the mutual well-being of the peoples of Bangladesh and India.
