Islami Andolon takes positions in Baitul Mokarram area

Islami Andolon Oikyojot has took to the streets at Baitul Mokarram area after Juma prayer claiming removal of statue from Supreme Court premises on Friday.

Thousands of activists of the party have participated in the congregation paralysing vehicular movement in the area.

Publicity Secretary of the party Ahmad Abdul Kaiyum said that the leaders and activists across the country took part in the congregation.

Mufti Syed Rezaul Karim, pir of Charmonai and also the chief of the party, Presidium member Sayed Mosaddek Al Madani, Nayeb-e-Amir Mufti Sayed Mohammad Fayjul Karim, General Secretary Mawlana Unus Ahmad and joint general secretary Hemayet Uddin are supposed to join the rally.
