Jubo League leader killed in Gopalganj road crash

A local Jubo League leader was killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Khulna highway at Sonakur in Sadar upazila on Friday (Jan 12) noon.

The deceased was identified as M A Daud, 45, son of late Dalil Uddin, hailing from Machkata village in Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat district and convener of upazila unit of Jubo League.

The accident took place as a trolley hit a motorcycle ridden by Daud while he was returning to his village from Gopalganj district police lines, leaving him dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the body.
