‘Militants can be removed by fair election’

Staff Reporter:Militants can be rooted out by fair election, said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

Bangladesh’s general people will never shelter militancy. Bangladesh’s people always against militancy, extremism, terrorism.

For the reason, militancy was never sheltered in the country, he said.

The BNP leader said national unity has to be created, fair election has to be organized, democratic environment has to be created, public right have to be ensure and all problems have to solved with all party members.

Government has to create environment for these.

He made this comment to the reporters in a meeting with party leaders at his home in Thakurgaon on Sunday.

Thakurgaon BNP district convener Taimur Rahman, BNP general secretary of the district Abdul Hamid, upazila BNP general secretary Tariq Adnan, district Jubo Dal general secretary Mahabur Hossain and among others were present in the meeting.
