21 Mar, 2017 16:26:21

Staff Reporter:Bangladesh Nationalist Party senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today warned the government saying that that no foreign soldiers would be tolerated on the soil of Bangladesh.

There is a rumor about the prime minister’s upcoming India visit, that a defense agreement would be signed between the two countries which would allow joint military operations, he said.

In the name of this agreement, Indian army would be allowed to interfere in to the internal matters of Bangladesh which might persuade threat for Bangladesh’s interest, he added.

Addressing a press conference at party’s central office at Nayapaltan in the city Rizvi said, ‘our military is enough competent to control extremism or terrorism whatever it is emerging in the country.’

‘If our law enforcers can achieve recognitions in United Nation’s peace missions, they are certainly able of repressing extremism inside the country.’ He said.

So there is no reason to call India to interfere into our internal matters, he said.
