PM auspicates Judges Complex in city

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday opened the newly constructed Judges Complex, the residential building for Supreme Court judges in Dhaka.

 

The 20-storied Judges Complex of 76 flats has been established on 1.5 acres land in city's Kakrail area.

 

In May 2011, the prime minister laid the foundation of the complex built at a cost of around Taka 174 crore.

 

Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha joined the function as special guest.

 

Minister for Housing and Public Works Engineer Mosharraf Hossain was in the chair while Minister for Law and Justice Advocate Anisul Haq was present as a guest.

 

Secretary of the Public Works Ministry M Shahidullah Khandakar addressed as the welcome address.
