President leaves Dhaka for Singapore for medical check-up

President Abdul Hamid has flown to Singapore on Sunday afternoon for medical treatment there.

A regular flight of Singapore Airlines which was carrying the President, took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:25 pm, said Abul Kalam Azad(President's press secretary).

His medical check-up will be led at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and Singapore National Eye Hospital.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, the dean of the diplomatic corps in Bangladesh, principle secretary of Prime Minister Office, the chiefs of the three services and high civil and military officials concerned bade him at the airport.

The President may return home on August 12.
