BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Tuesday claimed that the 'roadmap' revealed by the Election Commission is meant to materialize 'blueprint' of putting Awami League's to power again.
The party termed conspiracy revealing the' roadmap' before any settlement over the issue of BNP demand of election-conducive government.
It also found plot in the comments of the Chief Election Commissioner that the Election Commission would take steps to ensure a level playing field after declaration of election schedule.
BNP came up with remarks during giving its formal reaction to EC' Action Plan for 11th parliamentary election declared by Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda on Sunday.
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir flanked by the party's senior leaders at a news conference at the party's central office said BNP thinks that the Election Commission unveiling the roadmap defying people's expectation has begun its journey to materialize blueprint of putting Awami League in power through old technique.
He claimed that the nation was extremely 'frustrated' and aggrieved'.
Fakhul said the nation had expected that EC would take proper step freeing from all fear and influence for implementing the demand of election-conducive government for ensuring participation of all political parties in election.
