New prices for LP gas have been set for consumers for the month of April. The price of a 12 kg cylinder has been increased by BDT 387, from BDT 1,341 to BDT 1,728. Concurrently, the price of autogas has been raised from BDT 61.83 to BDT 79.77.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced these new prices on Thursday (April 2), which will come into effect from this evening.
Earlier in March, the price of each 12 kg cylinder was kept unchanged at BDT 1,341. The price of autogas was also set at BDT 61.83, following a reduction of 3 paisa.
