Three pilots have been killed in Iran as a result of a US attack, the country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard announced yesterday, Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Mojtaba Bagheri, Hamed Okati, and Hosseini Mahdavian. The first two were Navy pilots, while the third served as an Air Force pilot.

However, Iran did not disclose the location where they were attacked. Furthermore, Tehran did not specify whether the pilots were operating fighter jets or participating in any military operation at the time of their deaths.

In addition to these three pilots, Iran had previously reported the deaths of six other Navy personnel.

Iran’s state media reported that at least 19 Iranians were killed on Tuesday and Wednesday due to extensive US bombardment across the country.

According to reports from the national media, seven individuals died in the southwestern Iranian province of Khuzestan and four Revolutionary Guard members were killed in Kermanshah province due to the American assaults.

“Three members of paramilitary forces were also killed on Lavan Island in the Persian Gulf, and another individual died in Fars province,” the report added.

Iranian officials also attributed the deaths of four people at a wedding ceremony in Hormozgan province to US attacks. It was not immediately clear whether the six Navy officials were among the seven already reported killed in Khuzestan in the government’s official statements.
