14 swindlers held in Uttara � �

Staff Correspondent:At least 14 swindlers were arrested with apps, mobile phone sets, huge numbers of SIM cards, laptops, desktop computers and cash money from Uttara in the capital.

The arrestees amassed huge money by cloning the mobile phone numbers of government officials, said Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) on Thursday.

The elite force members seized all the materials and money from their possession and arrested them.

Details will be disclosed at a press briefing at Rab media centre in Karwan Bazar later in the day.
