3 stone workers killed in Sylhet

Sylhet Correspondent:Three stone workers were killed while extracting stones at Bisnakandi in Sylhet�s Gowainghat on Friday morning.

Two of the victims were identified as Zakir Mia, 20, and Tula Mia, 25, from Sunamganj Sadar, our Moulvibazar correspondent reports quoting police.

�The incident took place around 2:30am while workers were extracting stones on Basid Mia�s field near Badepasha Kheya Ghat,� said Delwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Gowainghat Police Station.

�They might have been buried under soil,� said the OC.

The bodies were being kept at Sunamganj Police Station.
