Noakhali Correspondent:At least five sub-inspector (SI) of police were injured in a road accident at Munsir road area in Chatkhil upazila of the district early Friday.
The injured cops are identified as Milton Rahman, Zasim, Nur Azam, Mohosin and Lutfur Rahman.
Police inspector of Chatkhil upazila Abul Khair, said the five SI were patrolling by a microbus around the area at night.
The accident happened while they were coming back home around 6:00am as the microbus lost control over its wheel due to deep fog, leaving the five SI injured, the police official said.
The injured were rushed to Upazila Health Complex. Of the five injured, Milton, Zasim and Nur were shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital as their condition deteriorated.
