6 idols stolen from Brahmanbaria�temple

Brahmanbaria Correspondent:At least six idols were stolen from Sree Sree Gopinath Jeu temple in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria by an unknown group of thieves early Sunday.

The incident took place around 3:30 am when the thieves entered the temple breaking eight locks at Fandauk village in the upazila.

Among the six idols, five were made by big brass and one was stone-made idol.

The thieves locked the priest in his room inside the temple while he was sleeping.

The temple is run by International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).
