Capainawabganj Correspondent: Police arrested seven leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir from a secret meeting at Chowdhala union in Gomostapur upazila on Wednesday over sabotage charge, UNB reprts.
The arrestees were identified as Saidur Rahman, president of district Truck and Motor Sramik Union and former secretary of Jamaat supported Sramik Kalyan Federation, Tojammel Haque, Anwar Hossain, Kamal Uddin, Sirajul Islam, Jewel Rana and Ashraful Islam.
Shahin Kamal, officer-in-charge of Gomostopur union, said on secret information, a team of police raided in the house of one Abdur Razzak at Housenagar village of the union around 6 pm and arrested them from the house.
