Hasina Nishad, Managing Director (MD) of a company in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), created a buzz by personally handing a new iPhone to each of her female employees. The employees were overwhelmed with joy upon receiving such expensive gifts unexpectedly. Some expressed their excitement, while others, unable to control their emotions, broke down in tears. Particularly, the sight of a company cleaner crying has generated widespread discussion on social media.
According to a report by the Indian media outlet NDTV, Kerala-born Hasina Nishad is currently the Managing Director of a UAE-based company. She recently organized this special gift distribution for the company’s female staff.
A video, widely circulated on social media, shows female employees being called into a conference room. None of them knew what awaited them. As they took their seats, they noticed wrapped boxes placed under their chairs. Upon opening the boxes, new iPhones were revealed. Instantly, the entire room erupted in joy and excitement.
However, the most emotional moment of the event centered around a cleaner. The video shows the woman serving juice to Hasina Nishad. At that very moment, she was also presented with an iPhone. Overwhelmed by such an unexpected gift, she couldn’t hold back her emotions and broke down in tears, embracing Hasina.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Hasina Nishad wrote that every woman has her own dreams, responsibilities, and various challenges. Her hope is that the company’s female employees can move forward more confidently on their path to fulfilling their dreams.
Hasina further stated that there is nothing more joyful than seeing another woman advance and succeed. She believes that one woman’s success provides courage for other women to also move forward.
This incident of giving expensive gifts to employees is not a first for the company. The NDTV report mentions that a similar event was featured in another video published on September 24. In that instance, Hasina Nishad’s husband and company owner, Nishad Hussein, handed wrapped gift boxes to employees, which also contained new iPhones.
Both videos have garnered significant attention on social media. Many are particularly praising Hasina Nishad for giving equal importance to the company’s cleaner when distributing gifts. According to them, it is not the employees’ designation but the respect and recognition given to them as human beings that made this event truly special.
