This information was disclosed in a notice signed by Raisha Afroz, Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, on Sunday (November 8).

The notice states that the Board’s second meeting has been called to formulate recommendations for the minimum wage rate for all categories of workers and employees engaged in the garment industry, in accordance with Section 139 of the Bangladesh Labour Act, 2006.
