Staff Correspondent: A police has been thrown acid on his working time in the capital. This incident took place before Mitford Hospital of Bangshal thana on Tuesday night 1am.
Police official, Rafiqul Alam (48) was injured. Then he was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Police arrested a man from the scene. His name could not be identified.
According to police, a team of police of Bangshal police station stopped a motorbike beside Mitford Hospital. Motorcycle rider flew away hurling acid on police body. Constable Rafiqul Alam was injured. SI Abdur Rauf took him to the hospital.
Now, he is under treatment in the burn unit.
