Entertainment Desk:Swara Bhaskar, who was lauded for her performance in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's critically acclaimed film, 'Nil Battey Sannata', is all set to push the boundaries yet again with 'Anaarkali Of Aarah'. The film's trailer dropped online on Thursday evening.
The film revolves around a fun-loving singer Anaarkali (Swara) from Aarah in Bihar, who rules the local scene with her songs that are popular for their innuendos. However, all hell breaks loose when she offends a powerful politician. What follows is Anaarkali's fight for dignity as she transforms from a carefree girl to a feisty woman who will seek justice at all costs.
If the 2-minute-plus trailer is anything to go by, the film will definitely showcase Swara's acting prowess. Produced by Priya and Sandiip Kapur, written and directed by Avinash Das, 'Anaarkali Of Aarah' is set to hit the screens on March 24.
