Prime Minister Tareq Rahman stated that the government is committed to advancing the nation’s development by utilizing the talent, skills, and creativity of the younger generation. He added that if the youth remain conscious of history and stay united, Bangladesh will never lose its way.

The Prime Minister made these remarks while addressing an event organized at the Army Stadium in Dhaka on Saturday (November 7) to commemorate National Revolution and Solidarity Day.

Tareq Rahman said, ‘For those who believe in democracy, November 7 is a glorious day. It is an occasion to identify friends and foes. Conspiracies against Bangladesh’s independence and sovereignty existed in the past and have not ceased even now.’

He further stated, ‘The same evil force, under the guise of the Grand Alliance (Mahajot), harmed the nation’s democracy and independence. The honor of the army was tarnished through the Pilkhana massacre. Subsequently, a fascist rule was established in the country. The defeat of that evil force of November 7 also occurred through the student-public uprising of 2024.’

The Prime Minister said that if the current generation remains conscious of history and stays united, no one will be able to hinder the nation’s progress. The youth have repeatedly proven that they do not compromise on the interests of Bangladesh.

He also added that the government is committed to taking necessary initiatives to develop all the potential within the youth and to involve them in national development activities.
