�BNP patronized the fundamentalists forces�

Staff Reporter:Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader and also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister on Sunday blamed BNP of patronising the rise of fundamentalist evil forces in the country.

Quader was talking to reporters after placing wreath at the National Martyrs� Memorial on the occasion of the 46th Independence Day of Bangladesh.

Quader said, �BNP patronised the fundamentalist evil forces in the country. These evil forces could not have surfaced if BNP did not back them up.�

�The main goal of these evil forces is to destabilize the country,� he said.

The minister also informed that 41 percent of the construction work of Padma Bridge has been finished and security and safety has been imposed strictly at the construction site.
