Staff Correspondent:The dead body of MP Manjurul Islam Liton who was shot dead by unidentified miscreants Gaibandha-1 constituency (Sundarganj) last night, arrived in the capital from Rajshahi.
Today, after the first funeral at Rangpur Police Lines and College ground afternoon on Sunday, his dead body was carried by helicopter.
Fazle Rabbi, Deputy Speaker of parliament, received his body at 4pm.
MP Liton�s first Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Rangpur Police Lines School and College ground on Sunday afternoon around 1.00 pm.
The body was kept in cold storage at BIRDEM Hospital.
