Staff Correspondent:A Dhaka court on Wednesday appointed March 27 for submitting charge sheet before the court over the murder of writer and blogger Avijit Roy.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Khurshid Alam pointed the date.
On February 26, 2015, some unidentified assailants hacked Avijit to death at Dhaka University area after Avijit and his wife came out of the Ekushey Boi Mela.
Victims father Ajay Roy filed a case against unidentified assailants with Shahbagh Police Station.
Police arrested eight people in connection with the murder. Of them, one accused died.
Remaining seven accused were brought before the court today.
Sub-inspector of Detective Branch (DB) of Police Fazlul Rahman is the investigation officer of the case.
