Cricketer Sunny gets bail, no bar on release

Staff Correspondent:Cricketer Arafat Sunny on Wednesday got bail in a case filed under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act.

Judge KM Shamsul Alam of the Cyber Tribunal released him after Nasrin Sultana, the woman who claimed to be Sunny�s wife, said she had no objection with the bail.

Sunny�s lawyer moved a petition seeking bail in the case. Now there is no valid bar to get release from the jail, said one of Sunny�s lawyers.

On March 9, Sunny secured a month�s bail in the torture case filed by Nasrin.
