Dense fog, ferry services resume in Kewrakandi-Shimulia

Munshiganj Correspondent: Due to dense fog, shipping route of Kewrakandi-Shimulia, ferry service is off from Wednesday night. Nearly two hundred transport of goods and passengers have been stranded in themiddle of Padma river.

More than five hundred small and big vehicles are waiting on theferry for crossing.

Assistant manager of Simulia pier of BIWTC said, from midnight, ferry service is being off. To increase the intensity of fog, beacon light was becoming unable to show the route.

However, the ferry will be normal again, when the fog will be lessened.
