The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) on Thursday in a drive evicted some 200 illegal makeshift structures in the city’s Mohammadpur and Shyamoli areas.
DNCC executive magistrate SM Ajior Rahman led the mobile court from 11am to 4pm.
“We’ve evicted some 200 illegal structures from footpaths and roads and penalised two business houses for selling rotten and stale foods,” said Ajior Rahman. Reported:unb.
Fakhruddin Birani was fined Tk 23,000 while Sharma House Tk 15000. Both are located at 9/Ka PC Culture Housing Society in Shyamoli, he told.
