Staff Correspondent:At least four people were killed and 20 others injured on Saturday afternoon as a truck and bus collided head-on in Kamarkhand of Sirajganj.
The identities of victims could not be recognized immediately.
Officer-in-charge of Bangabandhu Bridge (West) police station Daud Hossain said a Pabna-bound bus of Nightingale Paribahan collided head-on with a truck around 4:00pm, killing four people including drivers of the vehicles on the spot. The injured were rushed to Sirajganj General Hospital. The accident triggered traffic congestion at the both ends of the highway causing acute suffering to the commuters, witnesses said.
