Chief of Dhaka Metropolitan Police of Counter Terrorism Unit Monirul Islam said one militant, among the four slain militants, who were killed in Chapainawabganj militant den, escaped from Jhenidah militant den. He was identified as Abdullah.
In April 22, law enforcers led a raid ‘ South Paw’ in Jhenidah and recovered huge explosives. No militant was found in the raid.
Abdullah, who migrated his religion into Islam, was living in a house in Jhenaidah. After operation ‘South Paw’, he fled from the Jhenaidah militant den to Chapainawabganj den, where militant Abu lived. Later Abdulla was killed in the Shibnagar drive in Chapainawabganj. Militant Abu was also killed in the operation.
