Japan's fascination was working from childhood : PM

Awamileague President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that since childhood, I had a kind of fascination with Japan. That fascination still exists today. I used to collect Japanese paintings, calendars, post tickets, dolls etc. Japan is always close to my heart.

Before state visit to Japan the country's top media The Japan Times published an article about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed her feelings.

In this article titled 'Japan-Bangladesh Partnership for Development', he mentioned about her father's desire to 'make Bangladesh another Japan'.

In this article titled "In the transition from agriculture based economy to services and industrial sector growth," she invited Japanese investors in Bangladesh.

In this article Prime Minister highlighted the importance of ongoing large infrastructure development programs to ensure energy and food security and better life for the people.

Sheikh Hasina said that among South Asia, Bangladesh offers the most liberal and suitable environment for investment. We want to take that opportunity to the highest level.

It is to be noted that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka on Tuesday morning for a state visit to Tokyo on 28-30 May. This is her first tour of Japan after coming to power in the third term.
