Bollywood star couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have completed 14 years of marriage. Throughout this long journey, they are happily raising their two children, Taimur and Jeh. However, recently, on the popular comedy show ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show,’ Saif revealed an unusual nightly habit of his wife, Kareena, sparking laughter among the audience.
October 16 marked Saif and Kareena’s 14th wedding anniversary. They tied the knot on this day in 2012 in a private ceremony at Saif’s Bandra residence in Mumbai. Their love story began with their acquaintance and growing closeness on the sets of the film ‘Tashan’ in 2008.
The star couple appeared on Kapil Sharma’s show to celebrate their wedding anniversary. There, Kapil inquired about the secret behind their enduring marriage and their youthful appearance. Kareena revealed that a significant amount of ghee is consumed in their household, with both family members and children regularly eating it.
Before Kareena could finish, Saif jokingly interjected, stating that Kareena not only eats ghee but also rubs it on her feet before going to sleep at night. Hearing about her unique routine, Kareena also confirmed it, explaining that it helps her sleep soundly.
Saif then humorously added, “Imagine such a romantic atmosphere! Yet, our bedroom smells like a dhaba at night.”
Saif’s remark sent the audience and guests into peals of laughter. Kareena, too, couldn’t help but laugh. Later, Kapil Sharma lightheartedly teased Archana Puran Singh, who was also present at the event.
Saif and Kareena’s romantic relationship blossomed during the filming of ‘Tashan’ in 2008. They married four years later and currently share their lives with their two sons, Taimur and Jeh.
Regarding their work, Kareena was recently seen opposite Prithviraj Sukumaran in Meghna Gulzar’s crime thriller film ‘Deyra’. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan has starred alongside Akshay Kumar, Boman Irani, and Saiyami Kher in Priyadarshan’s directorial ‘Hawaan’.
