Staff Correspondent:BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Wednesday applied a petition with the High Court seeking a stay on the trial proceeding in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.
In the petition, Khaleda Zia seeks HC order to transfer the case to another court.
On February 2, Khaleda Zia submitted an application to the Special Judges Court -3 of Dhaka expressing no confidence on the judge of that court on different grounds, said Khaleda's lawyer AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon.
Judge Abu Ahmed Jomadar of the court rejected the no confidence petition, Khaleda's lawyer said.
Khaleda's lawyer AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon, on behalf of Khaleda Zia, submitted the revision petition on Wednesday to the HC challenging the lower court�s rejection order.
The HC may determine February 13 for hearing on the petition.
