Khaleda to pay tribute at Shaheed Minar

Staff Correspondent:BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will pay homage to the Language Movement martyrs at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka at the first hours on February 21.

Dhaka University authorities gave the permission after a delegation of BNP met Vice Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique in this regard this afternoon, Syrul Kabir Khan, a staff of BNP chief�s media wing, told bd24live.com.

Earlier, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia briefed media about VVIPs schedule of placing wreaths at Shaheed Minar.

As Khaleda�s name was not mentioned in the briefing, the BNP delegation sought permission from the Dhaka University authorities.
