Staff Correspondent: A special court in Dhaka has fixed January 26 for the next hearing in Zia Charitable Trust graft case filed against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
The Dhaka-3 special judge court judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar fixed the date on Thursday in response to a time petition filed by the BNP chief.
Earlier, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has appeared before the court to resume her defence in Zia Charitable Trust and Zia Orphanage corruption cases.
On January 5, Judge Md Abu Ahmed Jamadar of Dhaka Special Judge Court-3 adjourned the trial proceedings until on January 12.
Earlier, the trial court completed the recording depositions of prosecution witnesses in the two graft cases filed by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
