Mashrafee comes back home as wife falls sick

Bangladesh one-day captain Mashrafee bin Murtaza taking a short break came back home from their training camp in England to look after his ailing wife, said Bangladesh Cricket Board officials on Sunday.

BCB media committee chairman Jalal Younus said, Mashrafee is expected to land Dhaka tonight.

‘Mashrafee is coming at 7:00pm today as his wife is sick. He will rejoin the team on May 4,’ Jalal told New Age.

Bangladesh team is currently in England to hold a 10-day training camp as part of their preparation for the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy, scheduled to start from June 1.
