Brahmanbaria Correspondent:A Brahmanbaria court today placed a local Awami League leader on a two-day remand over attacks on Nasirnagar Hindu community in Nasirnagar upazila of the district.
Md Shafiqul Islam, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate of Brahmanbaria court issued the order when police produced Suruj Ali, who was recently suspended from the president post of Chapartola Union Awami League, before the court with a seven-day remand prayer.
Suruj was an alleged key instigator of the attack that happended on October 30.
At least eight cases were filed in connection with the attack. 107 people were arrested over the attack.
