Natore Correspondent: Demanding immediate arrest of Mayor Halimul Haque Miru and exemplary punishment to the murderers, Journalists of Natore district working in different local and national print and electronic media organized a human chain for killing Samakals' Shahjadpur journalist Abdul Hakum Shimul.
On Saturday morning, journalists arranged a human chain in front of Natore Press club. Samakal local Correspondent Nabiur Rahman Piplu presided over the protest while BTV Correspondent Jalal Uddin, Somoy TV correspondent Al-Mamun, Daily Star Correspondent Bulbul Ahmed, Desh TV correspondent Ronen Roy and The Asian Age Correspondent Naimur Rahman Spoke against the brutal killing of Journalist Shimul. They urged the law enforcers to take immediate steps in this regard. Abdul Hakim Shimul, the Shahjadpur Correspondent of Daily Samakal sustained bullet injuries during a factional clash between two groups of Awami League last Friday.
