Staff Correspondent:BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed alleged that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is making effort to influence the court by making comments on Khaleda Zia�s under-trial Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.
Rizvi Ahmed said, �The way prime minister made remarks on the under trial case [against BNP chief] is obviously an act of influencing the court. Does she [the premier] think that giving punishment to someone depends on her will as the judiciary and administration under her control?"
Speaking at a press conference at BNP's Naya Paltan central office, he also reiterated that there cannot be any election in the country with keeping Khaleda Zia behind bars.
Addressing at a reception programme in Germany on Friday, PM said Khaleda Zia will certainly be punished in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case if the court gets evidence and documents in this regard.
