Staff Correspondent: Supporters and activists of the ruling party Awami League today demonstrated in Norda demanding punishment of the killers of a Jubo League man, freezing traffic in major parts of Dhaka.
They began protest around 11:30am and continued for around 45 minutes before police requested to break. It caused huge traffic clog which spread out to nearby areas.

Jubo League activist of ward no 18, Md Mainuddin, 40, was murdered on January 23. He was called out from his home at night and beaten and stabbed to death, his nephew Anisur Rahman Sujon told bd24live.com.
On January 24, the victims mother filed a murder case accusing Shaju, Shuvo, Abid, Shahin, Jahir and some other named people. But police are yet to arrest the culprits, said Sujon.
